Write down the three things you most want money to make possible and the three concerns competing for attention. This creates a decision filter.
2. Monthly inflows and outflows
Use approximate take-home income, essential expenses, flexible spending, minimum debt payments, and recurring savings. The first goal is visibility, not perfection.
3. Debts and obligations
List lender, balance, interest rate, minimum payment, and term. Do not email or submit full account numbers.
4. Existing protection
Note any employer and personal coverage you already have, the purpose you believe it serves, and when it was last reviewed.
5. Your questions
Bring the questions you have been postponing. A good clarity conversation should help organize them, even when another qualified professional must provide the answer.
